The Mainland Affairs Council stated that due to multiple visa-free options for Taiwanese citizens, the policy’s attractiveness is limited and reminded the public to carefully assess personal safety risks when traveling to China.

According to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan’s colorectal cancer incidence has surpassed that of Japan and Korea, making it the highest in Asia. There is also a trend of younger patients. Doctors indicate that the main reasons include the Westernization of diets, excessive intake of processed foods, and irregular lifestyles, which increase cancer risk.
Doctors recommend that individuals over 45 should undergo regular screenings and improve their diets by increasing fruit and vegetable intake to maintain intestinal health.

台大電機系副校長廖婉君於今年三月獲頒「2025年台灣傑出女科學家獎」，但早在2022年就曾被檢舉研究成果誇大，近期再次遭到類似指控。她透過律師強調，爆料內容均為不實，懷疑為蓄意攻擊，並將採取法律行動。
台大學術倫理委員會已於去年12月認定該教授未違反學術倫理。廖教授則表示，未來將持續捍衛自身學術聲譽及人格。
NTU Vice President Accused of Academic Exaggeration, Lawyer Denies Claims
Liao Wan-jiun, Vice President of National Taiwan University’s Department of Electrical Engineering, received the “2025 Award for Taiwan Outstanding Women in Science” this March. However, back in 2022, she was already accused of exaggerating her research results, and now, similar accusations have come up again. Through her lawyer, she emphasized that the allegations are false and suspected them to be an intentional attack, stating that legal action will be taken.
The Academic Ethics Committee of National Taiwan University determined in December 2024 that the professor did not violate academic ethics. Professor Liao stated she will continue to defend her academic reputation and integrity in the future.
第四則：央行祭「限時令」 為台幣強升降溫
因應6月26日台幣匯率強升，央行祭出新措施。要求大型出口商須延後至上午十點才能拋匯，並嚴格限制單日1,000萬美元的交易額度。
此舉主要原因為減緩升值速度，協助中小企業爭取應變空間，並降低美方在談判期間，對我國干預匯市的質疑。央行希望能夠藉此穩定台幣匯率，提升出口商信心。

In response to the strong appreciation of the Taiwan dollar on June 26, the Central Bank has introduced new measures. Large exporters are required to delay currency selling until 10 AM and face strict limits on daily transaction amounts of 10 million USD.
The primary reason for this action is to slow the pace of appreciation, assist small and medium-sized enterprises in gaining flexibility, and reduce U.S. concerns about Taiwan’s intervention in the foreign exchange market during negotiations.
