Taichung Dome Location Announced To Be Built in Shuinan Trade and Economic Park
On May 28, Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-Yen announced that the dome will be built in the Shuinan Trade and Economic Park. The dome will cover 16.3 hectares, have two metro lines passing through, and provide at least 30,000 seats. It will be designed for baseball games and concerts.
Mayor Lu said this project will improve tourism in central Taiwan and help promote the city. She promised to complete the location selection and planning before her term ends.
