Taiwan Affairs Office Imposes Sanctions on Company Linked to Taiwanese Independence

On June 5, China’s Taiwan Affairs Office announced sanctions against SICUENS INTERNATIONAL CO.,LTD., which is managed by Shen Tu-cheng, the father of Democratic Progressive Party’s legislator Shen Bo-yang. The company is banned from cooperating with Chinese enterprises.

Chinese authorities emphasized that SICUENS has been classified as a “stubborn pro-independence entity” and will not be allowed to profit in China. Shen Bo-yang stated that this ideological manipulation is very unwise and stressed that he will not change his position because of it.

代工大廠緯創於5月營收達2,084.06億元,月增55.9%、年增162.1%,創下歷史新高。緯創指出,強勁的市場需求及AI伺服器訂單激增是主要推動因素,未來也將透過子公司在美國德州投資不動產使用權,進一步擴展業務。

董事長林憲銘表示將專注基本面,以配股率 6 成、每股 3.8 元回饋股東,並鎖定高毛利產品與 AI 伺服器,展現長期成長潛力。

Wistron, the contract manufacturer, reported a revenue of NT$208.406 billion in May, marking a month-on-month increase of 55.9% and a year-on-year increase of 162.1%, setting a new historical high.
