Los Angeles Protests Grow as Trump Sends in Marines
Riots broke out in Los Angeles, California, after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) carried out raids targeting illegal immigrants. Protests have grown, with people burning driverless taxis and shouting “ICE out of Los Angeles.”
President Trump called the protesters professional troublemakers and said 700 Marines would be sent to the city, with 2,000 National Guard troops to be deployed by June 11. California Governor Gavin Newsom strongly opposed this, calling it “un-American” and threatening to take legal action. The conflict between both sides is getting worse.

北檢於6月10日終結前民進黨黨工涉共諜案的偵查，依違反國家安全法及國家機密保護法等罪名起訴邱世元、黃取榮、吳尚雨、何仁傑4人，案件將移交台北地方法院審理。
調查顯示，黃取榮曾在中國經商，疑似遭中國情治單位吸收，透過其他被告蒐集政治機密。民進黨中評會已於5月將涉案5名黨員除名並開除黨籍，引發社會關注。
Four Former DPP Staff Accused of Espionage Indicted by Prosecutors
On June 10, the Taipei District Prosecutors Office finished investigating the espionage case involving former Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) staff. Four people, Chiu Shih-yuan, Huang Chu-jung, Wu Shang-yu, and Ho Jen-chieh, were charged with breaking the National Security Act and the Classified National Security Information Protection Act. The case will now go to the Taipei District Court.
Investigators found that Huang Chu-jung, who had worked in China, was suspected of being recruited by Chinese intelligence and worked with others to collect political secrets. In May, the DPP expelled five party members involved in the case, which has gained public attention.
第四則：陶朱隱園聯貸還款困難 達成債務協商
超級豪宅陶朱隱園的聯貸爆出還款困難，銀行團與亞太工商聯對此達成五項債務協商條件，包括寬限期至明年3月25日、暫降利息至2%、賣屋償債以及提供1.5億元周轉金等條件。此協商條件預計於6月底正式生效。
銀行團表示，借戶尚未違約，協商目的是協助借戶妥善銷售物件以償還債務。並強調若中工增資成為大股東，將有助於增強銀行團對其償債能力的信心。
Debt Negotiation Reached for Agora Garden Loan Issues
The luxury building Agora Garden faced difficulties repaying its syndicated loan. To address this, the banking group and Asia Pacific Industrial and Commercial Union agreed on five key terms. These include extending the grace period until March 25 next year, lowering the interest rate to 2% temporarily, repaying the debt through property sales, and providing 150 million NTD as a revolving fund. The agreement is expected to take effect by the end of June.
The banks stated that the borrower has not defaulted yet. The goal of the negotiation is to help the borrower sell the property to repay the debt. They also said that if BES Engineering Corporation increases its capital to become the main shareholder, it will improve their confidence in the borrower’s ability to repay.
