第一則:川普再呼籲聯準會降息 直言連台灣利率都比美國低

美國總統川普多次要求美國聯準會降息,但聯準會仍選擇觀望。川普於6月30日再度要求聯準會大幅降息,直言美國應支付1%或更低的利率。他在社群平台上發文,批評聯準會「連最簡單的工作都做不好」,導致美國浪費大量利息支出。

川普還指出,包括台灣、日本、南韓等多國利率均低於美國,並認為若聯準會早些行動,美國應可省下上兆美元的利息支出。

Trump Again Urges the Federal Reserve to Cut Interest Rates, Says Even Taiwan's Rates Are Lower Than the U.S.

U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly asked the Federal Reserve (Fed) to lower interest rates, but the Fed has continued to wait and see. On June 30, Trump again called for a big cut in interest rates, saying the U.S. should pay 1% or less. He posted on social media, criticizing the Fed for “not even doing the simplest job,” which he said caused the U.S. to waste a lot of money on interest payments.

Trump also said that countries like Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea have lower interest rates than the U.S., and argued that if the Fed had acted earlier, the U.S. could have saved trillions of dollars in interest costs.

第二則:颱風季來臨 濱海風力預報正式啟用

因應颱風季的到來,中央氣象署自7月1日起,於颱風警報期間新增「濱海鄉鎮風力預報」,針對濱海地區提供更精準的風力資訊,彌補以往僅有縣市層級預報的不足。

民眾可透過氣象署官網或應用程式掌握風力變化,地方政府也能更準確判斷是否停班停課、提升防災效率。氣象署表示,未來將持續蒐集各方回饋,精進預報品質。

Typhoon Season Starts: Coastal Wind Forecast Now Available

To prepare for typhoon season, the Central Weather Administration (CWA) has launched a new “Coastal Towns Wind Forecast” starting July 1. During typhoon warnings, this forecast provides more accurate wind information for coastal areas, improving on the previous county-level forecasts. 

People can check wind changes on the CWA website or app. Local governments can use this to decide if work and school should be called off, making disaster prevention better. The CWA  also said it will collect feedback to keep improving the forecast and its services.

第三則:Meta廣告資訊揭露不全 再遭重罰1,500萬元

數發部於6月30日宣布,因臉書廣告資訊揭露不全,對Meta開罰新台幣1,500萬元,並要求於7月30日前完成改善,否則將連續處罰。數發部指出,臉書平台廣告服務存在系統性缺失,導致未能即時揭露廣告委託者與出資者資訊,影響層面廣泛。

Meta對此回應,將持續優化廣告透明度與平台安全性,協助用戶辨識廣告資訊,進一步確保平台環境安全。

Meta Fined NT$15 Million for Incomplete Ad Information Disclosure

On June 30, the Ministry of Digital Affairs announced a fine of NT$15 million on Meta for not fully disclosing advertising information on Facebook. Meta was fined NT$15 million and required to make improvements by July 30, or face further penalties. The ministry said Facebook’s ad system has problems, making it unable to show advertiser and sponsor details on time, causing widespread issues. 

Meta replied that it will keep improving ad transparency and platform safety to help users better identify ad information and ensure a safer platform.

第四則:Z世代新鮮人求職壓力大 有八成靠算命找方向

yes123求職網於6月30日公布一項調查,顯示Z世代新鮮人面臨求職困難,近五成無存款,平均僅能待業30天,更有94.2%的人表示在待業期間感到焦慮,創7年來的新高。

有趣的是,為緩解求職壓力,有87%的新鮮人曾求助命理尋求方向,包括星座、塔羅牌、生辰八字等,甚至到廟裡求籤,反映出他們對未來的高度焦慮感與對心靈指引的依賴。

Gen Z Fresh Graduates Struggle with Job Hunting: 80% Turn to Fortune-Telling for Help

On June 30, yes123 Job Bank released a survey showing that Gen Z fresh graduates are having a hard time finding jobs. Nearly half have no savings, and they can only stay unemployed for an average of 30 days. Also, 94.2% said they feel anxious during unemployment, the highest in seven years.

To deal with job stress, 87% of fresh graduates have tried fortune-telling for help. This includes astrology, tarot cards, birth chart readings, and even drawing lots at temples. This shows their strong anxiety about the future and reliance on spiritual guidance.

第五則:酸菜魚倒閉潮:專賣店紛紛熄燈或轉型求生

來自重慶的酸菜魚料理曾於兩年前風靡全台,然而近期熱潮逐漸退燒,專賣店紛紛倒閉。像是「狂一鍋酸菜魚」在今年1月開出首店,卻在半年內草草結束營業;「叁加叁酸菜魚」原計畫擴展至10家門市,卻因業績不佳全數停業。

其中也有部分品牌選擇轉型為火鍋品牌以求生。這波倒閉潮再次反映出台灣餐飲業的「蛋塔效應」,在熱潮退去後,各品牌只能想辦法止損。

Wave of Suan Cai Yu Closures: Businesses Shut Down or Change to Survive

The Suan Cai Yu, also known as Sichuan Fish with Pickled Mustard Greens, originally from Chongqing, was very popular in Taiwan two years ago. However, the trend has recently faded, and many specialty stores have closed. For example, “Kuang Infinity” opened its first store in January this year but closed within six months. Similarly, “Sng Jia Sng Jia Suancai Fish” planned to open 10 stores but shut down completely due to poor sales. 

Some brands have switched to hot pot restaurants to stay in business. This wave of closures shows how Taiwan’s food industry often follows trends, but when the trend ends, demand drops, and businesses struggle to survive.
