第一則:2025城鎮韌性演習登場 採隨機情境題

今年起,針對防空與救援的「萬安」、「民安」演習,重新整合為「城鎮韌性演習」。有別於以往的演習,不事先擬定腳本,而由中央評核官隨機抽選情境題,交由相關單位臨場發揮。

本次演習自7月15日至18日分區進行,中部地區於15日演習後,16日輪到高屏地區,17日在台北、新北、宜蘭等地舉行,18日則於花東及外島地區展開。未配合演習最高可罰15萬元,民眾應保持冷靜,配合疏散。

2025 Urban Resilience Drill Starts with Random Scenarios

Starting this year, the Wan An air defense and Min An civil defense drills have been combined into the “Urban Resilience Drill.” Unlike before, there are no pre-set scripts. Central evaluators will randomly pick scenarios, and teams must respond on-site.

The drill will be held from July 15 to 18 in different regions. Central Taiwan had its drill on July 15, Kaohsiung and Pingtung on July 16, Taipei, New Taipei, and Yilan on July 17, and Hualien, Taitung, and offshore islands on July 18. People who don’t cooperate may be fined up to NT$150,000. Everyone is reminded to stay calm and follow evacuation instructions.

第二則:川普關稅新政 台灣稅率有望低於20%?

美國總統川普近日公布多國對等關稅政策,多數稅率超過25%,但對台稅率仍未公布。川普曾表示,其餘國家都將面臨15%或20%的關稅,使外界關注台灣的最終稅率是否會低於20%。

行政院副院長鄭麗君與談判團隊,於7月8日與美方進行第三輪會談,雙方針對多項關鍵議題凝聚共識,並已約定下一輪磋商時程。台美雙方均表示希望在8月1日前完成協議,並揭示最終結果。

Trump's New Tariff Policy: Is Taiwan's Tax Rate Likely to Drop Below 20%?

U.S. President Trump recently announced new tariff policies for many countries, with most rates over 25%. Taiwan’s tax rate has not been revealed yet. Trump once said remaining countries would face tariffs of 15% or 20%, making people wonder if Taiwan’s rate could be under 20%. 

Deputy Premier Cheng Li-chiun and her team met with U.S. officials on July 8 for the third round of talks. Both sides agreed on some key points and planned the next meeting. They hope to finish the deal before August 1, announcing the final result.

第三則:國安基金護盤投報率超過15% 將持續護盤

國安基金於7月14日召開第二季例行會議,表示考量國際政經不確定因素依然存在,將持續執行護盤任務,維護投資信心及台股穩定。

自4月9日進場護盤至6月底,累計動用約77億元資金,帳面未實現利益約11.8億元,投資報酬率超過15%。期間台股累計上漲4,155點,漲幅達22.5%,僅次於美股及韓股,優於港股及日股,展現護盤穩定市場的效果。

National Stabilization Fund Achieves Over 15% Return Rate and Will Continue Support

The National Stabilization Fund held a meeting on July 14, saying it will keep supporting the stock market because of ongoing global political and economic uncertainties. This is to maintain investor confidence and stabilize Taiwan’s stock market.

From April 9 to the end of June, the fund spent about NT$7.7 billion, with unrealized gains of around NT$1.18 billion, achieving a return rate of over 15%. During this time, Taiwan’s stock market rose by 4,155 points, a growth rate of 22.5%, ranking behind only U.S. and South Korean markets. It performed better than Hong Kong and Japanese markets, showing the fund’s efforts helped stabilize the market.

第四則:日本「I'm donut?」台北開幕 大排長龍爆負評

日本生甜甜圈品牌「I’m donut?」近期在台北開幕,吸引大量人潮,卻出現插隊情況,甚至有民眾在高溫下排隊8小時仍買不到,導致Google一星評論暴增。

業者雖緊急調整購買規則,但專家指出,事前規劃是危機管理的關鍵。建議提前規劃排隊動線、準備號碼牌防止隊伍膨脹、估算最大產能並透明化等候時間。此外,可提供折扣券慰勞排隊的顧客,避免負面形象擴散。

Japan's "I'm donut?" Taipei Opening Faces Long Lines and Bad Reviews

The Japanese donut brand “I’m donut?” recently opened in Taipei and attracted big crowds. However, problems like cutting in line happened, and some people waited 8 hours in the heat but still couldn’t buy donuts. This caused a lot of one-star reviews on Google.

The company quickly changed its buying rules, but experts said good planning is important to avoid problems. They suggested making clear queue routes, using number tickets to stop overcrowding, estimating how many donuts can be made, and letting people know the waiting time. Giving discount coupons to thank waiting customers could also help avoid bad reviews.

隨著生活節奏加快,許多人難以擠出長假,因此「微旅行」正成為放鬆的最佳選擇。微旅行強調精簡,不過夜或僅住宿一晚,在短時間內探索周邊景點,輕鬆充電。

Asia's Top 10 Micro-Travel Cities: Taipei and Kaohsiung Make the List

As life gets busier, many people find it hard to take long vacations. This is why “micro-travel” has become a great way to relax. Micro-travel focuses on short trips, either a day trip or staying just one night, to explore nearby places and recharge easily.  

Agoda recently shared its list of Asia’s Top 10 Micro-Travel Cities, with Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia taking first place. Taipei and Kaohsiung also made the list. Taipei is popular for its night market food, Taipei 101 views, and hot springs, while Kaohsiung offers port scenery and cultural spots, making them great choices for micro-travel.
