Russia Bombs Kyiv, UK Summons Ambassador
Russian forces bombed Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, on August 28. The attack killed at least 15 people and damaged the British Council building and the EU office.
UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy summoned the Russian ambassador on August 28 and condemned Putin for taking civilian lives. Taiwan’s drink culture is famous worldwide. Besides the well-known bubble tea, a Spanish food website recently pointed out that Taiwan’s traditional drink, papaya milk, deserves more global attention than bubble tea.
Papaya milk only needs papaya, fresh milk, and ice, and it can be easily made at home. It tastes fresh and is full of nutrition. Writer Jess Eng called it Taiwan’s “most underrated secret.” She also stressed that papaya milk is closely connected with Taiwan’s rich fruit culture and is the perfect choice for people who do not like bubble tea.
