每年4月4日是台灣的兒童節，不同國家也有自己的兒童節，並以特別方式慶祝。聯合國於1954年設立了「世界兒童日」，以提醒社會關注兒童權益，各國也因此制定了自己的兒童節。例如日本有女孩專屬的「雛祭」會擺設雛人形，男孩則有象徵勇氣的「鯉魚節」。瑞典的「龍蝦節」中，男孩會打扮成龍蝦學習其「勇敢精神」，西班牙則在三王節為孩子送禮。這些節日不僅展現文化特色，同時也傳遞對兒童的祝福與關愛。
Children's Day in Taiwan and Around the World
In Taiwan, April 4th is Children’s Day. Different countries celebrate Children’s Day on various dates and in special ways. In 1954, the United Nations created “Universal Children’s Day” to raise awareness of children’s rights. Many countries then set their own Children’s Day. For example, in Japan, there is a festival for girls called “Hinamatsuri,” where families display traditional dolls. For boys, there is “Kodomo no hi,” a festival with carp-shaped flags that symbolize courage. In Sweden, boys participate in the “Kräftskiva” by dressing as crayfish to learn the “spirit of bravery.” In Spain, children receive gifts during “Three Kings Day.” These festivals reflect cultural traditions and express love and blessings for children.
第二則：屏東兒童節創新禮物 學童超商學數學
今年屏東市建國實驗小學為慶祝兒童節，與以往買禮物給學生不同，改為發給每名學童100元超商禮物卡，讓學生自行選購商品。學童們在超商中需精打細算，並可嘗試與同學合資，學習如何將花費控制在預算內。有導師為了不放過學習的機會，設計了學習單要求學生回校後計算購買食物的熱量，以結合數學與健康教育。校方表示，此活動目的是透過將數學與生活結合，提升學生的實踐能力與合作精神。
Pingtung Students Celebrate Children's Day with Creative Learning
This year, instead of giving gifts, Jian Guo Elementary School in Pingtung City gave each student a NT$100 convenience store gift card to celebrate Children’s Day. Students were encouraged to shop on their own, carefully calculating their expenses. They could also team up with classmates to share costs and practice staying within budget. To make the activity educational, a teacher designed worksheets that asked students to calculate the calories of the food they bought, combining math with health education.The school stated that this activity aims to enhance students’ practical skills and teamwork spirit by integrating math into daily life.
第三則：「樂高雄」親子同樂週：巨型樂高與多元活動齊登場
高雄市政府與樂高攜手， 將於4月3日至6日衛武營國家藝術文化中心舉辦「樂高雄」，邀請家長與孩子一同參與此次兒童藝術節。現場有6米高「巨型衝浪小樂」人偶、樂高拼砌牆及互動遊戲，並結合多元親子體驗，如閱讀活動、兒童劇、運動闖關及壽山動物園互動攤位。晚上還有戶外電影院播放經典動畫，邀請大小朋友參與，共創歡樂回憶。
"Playful Kaohsiung" Family Week: Giant LEGO and Fun Activities
Kaohsiung City Government and LEGO invite parents and children to the “Playful Kaohsiung” event from April 3 to 6 at National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts. The event features a 6-meter-tall LEGO surfer figure, LEGO building walls, and interactive games. Families can also enjoy reading activities, children’s plays, sports challenges, and Shoushan Zoo’s booths. In the evening, families can join the outdoor cinema for classic animation to create joyful memories with their loved ones.
